‘And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.’

1 Corinthians 13:13

For Hank's Sake has a steadfast commitment to rescuing ill-fated horses, providing them with loving care, rehabilitation, and re-training for useful purposes. For Hank’s Sake also plays a leading role in raising awareness of the need to actively identify and care for neglected horses. Our community outreach includes equine-therapy programs for underprivileged children and at-risk youth, and free consultation services so that other horse owners can benefit from our expertise on issues of proper equine care.

Love is at the core of what we do. It is the heartbeat that propels our dedication and devotion to helping disadvantaged horses and at-risk children. We serve with compassion, humility, and deep gratitude for the privilege of helping our horses help others. We are fueled by The Power of Love; it is the strength from which our service overflows. “Love reigns here” is more than a slogan. It empowers us to serve the horses in our care, our communities, and all who enter our stables.

About Tammi Jo Regan

After nearly thirty years directing sales and marketing in the private sector, I have found a deep satisfaction in leading transformation in the horse community. Having spent most of my professional career spearheading growth in traditional business, where I gained a reputation for building brands, improving bottom-lines, strengthening teams and managing change, I am no stranger to challenging convention. I am now directing that energy to fulfilling the mission of For Hank's Sake.

I earned my first degree in Business & Marketing and am currently pursuing a second degree in Equine Sciences. I am also an Equine Assisted Learning Facilitator and an active member of both the Retired Racehorse Project and the Certified Horsemanship Association.

My commitment to the wellbeing of endangered horses, at risk-individuals (especially children) and to my community is steadfast. For Hank’s Sake proves just how much is possible when the human spirit and the spirit of the horse come together to rise up to be a voice for the voiceless, a heart for the heartbroken, a home for the homeless, and a light in the darkness.
